Water Resistance Guide
Water resistance ratings that are usually displayed on the reverse of a watch’s case or dial are not entirely representative of real-world conditions. More accurately, they indicate the pressure the watch can handle at a given water depth in laboratory conditions. For instance, a 30m (3ATM) rated watch should not be submerged in water, it is only splash and rain proof.
Below is a table showing which activities your watch is able to handle at various water resistance ratings. Please note, this is a guide only, always refer to the owner’s manual before attempting to wear your watch for any water-based activities.
