Men's Evolution 9 'Night Lake' Spring Drive UFA Watch

UFAThe dial of this Grand Seiko Evolution 9 watch is an expression of Japan's Lake Suwa at night time - its deep black gradation colouring capturing the surface of the water as it shimmers beneath the moonlight. The 'Lake Suwa Pattern' finishing reflects the quiet, shifting light of the lake's surface, a scene that has inspired Grand Seiko's Shinshu studio for generations. Silver-toned hands move across the darkness with quiet precision, evoking the stillness of the water's edge after nightfall.

The 40mm case and bracelet are crafted in high-intensity titanium; lightweight and exceptionally durable. The anti-reflective box sapphire crystal glass and screw-down crown ensure water resistance to 100m. The three-fold clasp features a push-button release and micro-adjustment function for a precise, personalised fit.

At the heart of the watch is the calibre 9RB2, powered by the Spring Drive UFA - Ultra Fine Accuracy - movement. Spring Drive harnesses the energy of a mainspring and regulates it through a state-of-the-art electronic circuit, without batteries or external power. The UFA designation represents a new pinnacle of precision: an annual accuracy of just +/-20 seconds; the world's highest standard for a mainspring-driven wristwatch movement. The see-through caseback reveals the movement's bridge design, finished to reflect the frost-covered trees of the Shinshu mountains in winter.

Every Grand Seiko features signature high standards of precision, durability and legibility, handcrafted in Japan by Takumi artisans.
