The Ludwig 38 237 is a study in classical elegance. With its Roman numerals, slender tempered blue hands, and a white silver-plated dial, this watch embodies the timeless character of the NOMOS Ludwig line—now in a larger 38 mm size. Refined yet understated, it is a design that appeals to those who appreciate both tradition and modern minimalism.

Crafted from stainless steel with sapphire crystal glass front and back, Ludwig 38 measures 37.5 mm in diameter, with a slim height of 6.8 mm and a lug-to-lug length of 48 mm. Its proportions make it perfectly balanced for slightly larger wrists, while the black Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan strap provides durability and sophistication. Water-resistant to 3 atm, it is both beautiful and practical.

At its heart is the NOMOS hand-wound caliber DUW 4001 (formerly Alpha), visible through the sapphire crystal case back. This in-house movement is just 2.6 mm in height, runs with 17 jewels, and delivers a power reserve of up to 53 hours. Ludwig 38 237 is not only a refined dress watch but also a showcase of Glashütte’s tradition of precise, reliable watchmaking.
