The Ludwig 205 is smart and subtle—the secret Wunderkind of the NOMOS collection. With its Roman numerals, slender hands, and perfectly balanced dial, Ludwig combines academic charm with understated elegance. Slender at just 6.7 mm in height, it is a timepiece that appeals to those with the finest aesthetic sensibilities.

Its tripartite stainless steel case and sapphire crystal glass on both sides reveal classic NOMOS craftsmanship. Measuring 35 mm in diameter with a lug-to-lug of 45 mm, Ludwig 205 sits comfortably on the wrist, while the black Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan strap adds refined sophistication. With 3 atm of water resistance, it balances beauty with practicality.

Visible through the sapphire crystal back is the hand-wound NOMOS caliber DUW 4001 (formerly Alpha), crafted in Glashütte. Slim at only 2.6 mm, it offers up to 53 hours of power reserve and runs with 17 jewels, ensuring robust precision and reliability. Ludwig 205 is not only elegant in appearance but also a masterpiece of traditional German watchmaking.
