The Tangente 139 is the most iconic NOMOS timepiece: prizewinning, precise, and timeless. With its clean Bauhaus-inspired design, tempered blue hands, and white silver-plated dial, Tangente has become the watch of choice for architects, writers, and minimalists worldwide. Its black Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan strap completes the understated elegance.

Crafted in stainless steel with sapphire crystal glass on both sides, Tangente 139 measures 35 mm in diameter and just 6.6 mm in height—slim, balanced, and perfectly proportioned. Water-resistant to 3 atm, it is as practical as it is beautiful, with details that have made it a modern classic.

At its heart is the hand-wound NOMOS caliber DUW 4001 (formerly Alpha), a robust and reliable movement developed in-house. Measuring only 2.6 mm in height, it offers up to 53 hours of power reserve and is finely finished in the Glashütte tradition. Visible through the sapphire crystal case back, it makes Tangente 139 as much a piece of watchmaking art as it is an everyday companion.
