The Seiko 5 Sports SRPL89K1 pays homage to the SKX399, a popular model from the original Seiko 5 Sports SKX series first introduced in the 1990s. This modern re-interpretation captures the spirit of the original while presenting a vibrant orange dial that delivers strong visual impact for everyday sports styling.

Retaining the familiar layout of the SKX399, the SRPL89K1 features the same richly textured indices and hands, enhanced with updated finishing for a more refined appearance. Improved knurling on the bezel and a glossy glass bezel insert add extra sparkle, while the black silicone strap offers both comfort and a contemporary sporting look.

At its heart, the SRPL89K1 is powered by Seiko’s in-house 4R36 automatic movement, providing an accuracy of +45 / -35 seconds per day and a power reserve of approximately 40 hours. With over fifty years of Seiko 5 Sports heritage, this watch embodies reliability, durability, performance and value, defined by its five core features: automatic movement, day-date display, water resistance, a recessed crown, and a durable case and strap.
