The Seiko Presage SPB480J1 is part of the Presage Classic Series, a collection designed around the concept of gracefully wearing Japanese beauty through traditional, refined elegance. This timepiece reflects a sophisticated aesthetic rooted in Japanese heritage, offering a timeless design suited to both formal and everyday wear.

Its ‘Shiro-Iro’ coloured dial is inspired by unbleached natural Japanese silk, a material long associated with Japanese home décor and clothing. Gold-coloured accents symbolise nobleness and enhance the watch’s elegant appearance. Beneath dual-curve sapphire glass, the curved dial, hands and indices evoke a vintage style while maximising light reflections. A recessed open-heart display at 9 o’clock reveals the inner beauty of the movement, complemented by a recessed 24-hour subdial at 6 o’clock.

The seven-piece multi-row bracelet draws inspiration from 1970s retro metal watch bracelets, with short 6mm links designed to reflect light while offering exceptional comfort and flexibility. Powered by the in-house built 6R5J calibre, the SPB480J1 features a date function at 3 o’clock, delivers accuracy of -15/+25 seconds per day, and offers a three-day 72-hour power reserve. As with all Presage models, it embodies timeless looks, precise mechanical timekeeping and a distinctly Japanese minimalist aesthetic.
