Men's 'Skydiving' Cocktail Time Automatic GMT Watch

The Seiko Presage SSK037J1 is one of a new trio of Presage Cocktail Time watches and marks the first time this collection features GMT functionality. Inspired by Japanese cocktail culture and the signature drinks of Tokyo’s renowned Star Bar in the sophisticated Ginza district, this model takes its influence from the Skydiving cocktail, known for its perfectly balanced sweet and sour flavours and pale blue colour.

The light blue dial features sunray reflections and is designed to resemble the view through a cocktail glass, capturing the refined atmosphere of cocktail bar culture. The GMT hand is inspired by the stem of a cocktail glass, while the second hand reflects the elegant form of a cocktail stirrer. Arabic numerals at each index work in harmony with the GMT function to allow two time zones to be tracked simultaneously.

Razor-sharp markers and dauphine-style hands enhance clarity and refinement, while a date display at 3 o’clock adds everyday practicality. Finished with a five-link bracelet designed to enhance light refraction and comfort, the SSK037J1 embodies timeless looks, precise mechanical timekeeping and a minimalistic, distinctly Japanese aesthetic.
