Commemorating Seiko’s 145th Anniversary, the HBC005J1 is a limited edition timepiece celebrating the brand’s beginnings as a Tokyo clock and watch repair shop in 1881. Paying tribute to Seiko’s diving heritage that began in 1965 with Japan’s first-ever diver’s watch, this model continues the legacy of innovation in professional diving timepieces. Designed for both collectors and adventurers, it blends Seiko’s iconic design with cutting-edge functionality.

Built for the demands of professional divers, the HBC005J1 features a 300m water-resistant Air Diver case, a silver dial with LumiBrite on hands and indices for exceptional visibility in low-light conditions, and a unidirectional aluminium bezel in striking ‘Seiko Blue’ for safe underwater timing. The 40mm case with super-hard coating ensures durability, while the short-pitch bracelet with Diver’s slide adjustment clasp provides a comfortable fit. A limited edition engraving on the case back highlights the watch’s exclusivity.

Powered by Seiko’s in-house 6R55 automatic calibre, this timepiece offers a 72-hour power reserve and an accuracy of -15/+25 seconds per day. Part of the Prospex (“Professional Specifications”) line, the HBC005J1 is designed for extreme environments, combining practicality, reliability, and durability.
