Sometimes, the warmth of the blue is to the fore and, at others, the dial seems almost pitch black. Whatever its aspect, this dial is the perfect backdrop against which the diamond-cut hands and hour markers stand out in sharp relief.
Thanks to Grand Seiko’s unique Spring Drive movement, the seconds hand glides silently and smoothly, with no “tick”, across the dial, perfectly reflecting the natural and continuous flow of time. The power reserve is 72 hours when fully wound and is shown on the discreet indicator next to the eight o’clock index.
