The Seiko 5 Sports SRPL85K1 pays homage to the SKX399, a popular model from the original Seiko 5 Sports SKX series first introduced in the 1990s. This modern reinterpretation features a black dial and stays true to the layout of the original design, delivering a familiar look with a contemporary update.

Retaining the richly textured indices and hands of the SKX399, the SRPL85K1 introduces refined finishing details for a more modern feel. Updated knurling on the bezel and a glossy glass bezel insert add extra sparkle, enhancing the visual impact while preserving the character of the original model.

Powered by Seiko’s in-house 4R36 automatic movement, the SRPL85K1 offers an accuracy of +45 / -35 seconds per day and a power reserve of approximately 40 hours. Supported by over fifty years of Seiko 5 Sports heritage, this timepiece reflects the collection’s reliability, durability, performance and value, defined by its five core features: automatic movement, day-date display, water resistance, a recessed crown, and a durable case and bracelet.
