The Seiko Astron SSH175J1 is driven by Seiko’s passion for innovation and created under the design theme of Solidity, representing the future of advanced watchmaking. This solar-powered Astron model combines cutting-edge technology with a strong yet refined aesthetic, designed for modern lifestyles.

Lightweight yet robust, the watch is crafted from super-hard coated titanium, including both the case and bracelet, and is protected by dual curved sapphire crystal glass. The blue-grey dial features a distinctive vertical subdial layout with a horizontal line pattern, enhancing its contemporary character. With sleek lines, a slim profile and a compact, angular design, the case flows almost seamlessly through the lugs to the bracelet, creating a balanced and modern look.

Designed with a low centre of gravity for enhanced comfort, the five-piece titanium bracelet offers lightweight wear and includes a micro-adjustable clasp for a personalised fit. The caseback is finished with a three-dimensional globe symbol, highlighting its GPS capability. Powered by the in-house 5X83 solar movement, the SSH175J1 features a 1/20th of a second chronograph, with subdials dedicated to chronograph timing, mode selection and dual-time display. As part of the Seiko Astron collection — the world’s first GPS solar watch — it is powered by light and automatically adjusts to the exact time via advanced satellite technology.
