The Seiko Presage Classic Series SPB521J1 embodies inherent Japanese elegance, drawing inspiration from traditional colour and material heritage. Named ‘Aijiro’, the light indigo dial reflects a hue cherished during the Edo period, while its refined texture is inspired by soft Japanese silk – a material long celebrated in Japanese home décor and clothing since ancient times.

Protected by dual-curved sapphire glass, the domed dial features gracefully curved hands and indices that evoke a vintage aesthetic and are carefully designed to maximise light reflection. With a compact 36mm case, this timepiece offers a balanced and refined presence on the wrist, perfectly suited to a classic and understated style.

Completing the design is a seven-piece multi-row bracelet inspired by 1970s retro metal watch bracelets, created to enhance comfort, flexibility and visual sparkle through light play. Powered by the in-house built Seiko 6R51 calibre, the SPB521J1 delivers precise mechanical performance with an accuracy of -15/+25 seconds per day and an impressive three-day 72-hour power reserve, staying true to the Seiko Presage philosophy of timeless design and precise Japanese mechanical timekeeping.
