The Seiko Presage Classic Series SPB525J1 embodies inherent Japanese elegance and is named ‘Ai-iro’ for its deep indigo dial, a colour cherished during Japan’s Edo period between 1603 and 1868. Regarded as a lucky colour by Samurai warriors, Ai-iro later became known internationally as ‘Japan Blue’ during the Meiji era. The dial texture is inspired by soft Japanese silk, a material long associated with traditional home décor and clothing.

Protected by dual-curved sapphire glass, the domed dial is paired with curved hands and indices that evoke a refined vintage style while maximising light reflection for enhanced visual depth. The seven-piece multi-row bracelet draws inspiration from 1970s retro metal watch designs, with short 6mm links that improve flexibility, comfort and light-catching appeal on the wrist.

This Presage Classic timepiece is powered by an in-house built 6R55 automatic calibre, offering a three-day 72-hour power reserve and accuracy of -15/+25 seconds per day.
