The Seiko Presage Japanese Zen Garden Series SSA466J1 draws inspiration from the ancient capital of Kyoto and the traditional Karesansui dry garden, a symbol of Japan’s deep appreciation of nature. This timepiece reflects the serene balance and seasonal beauty found in Japanese garden design, translated into a refined and contemplative watch aesthetic.

Protected by dual-curved sapphire crystal glass, the rich brown dial evokes the colour-changing autumn leaves of Kyoto. Its glossy three-dimensional pattern is designed to resemble the raked sand of a Karesansui garden, a visual expression of mindfulness and calm. Curved minute and second hands further enhance the elegant flow of the design.

At 9 o’clock, an open-heart display reveals the beauty of Seiko’s Japanese watchmaking craftsmanship and the in-house built automatic calibre within.
