Exclusively available in Europe, the SPB531J1 is a limited edition Seiko Prospex timepiece from the iconic Alpinist collection, originally launched in 1959 for Japanese ‘Yama-otoko’ mountain men. Designed to deliver reliability in treacherous terrain, the Alpinist has become a symbol of robust performance combined with refined style, making this European-exclusive release highly sought after.

Based on the popular SPB121 Alpinist, this special edition draws its colour inspiration from the night sky over the mountains. The deep blue dial features a subtle vertical striped pattern and is accented by elegant cathedral-style gold-coloured hour and minute hands. Completing the look is a deep blue calf leather strap, with an additional navy nylon strap included and presented in a special edition box for added versatility.

Visible through the exhibition case back, the in-house 6R35 automatic calibre powers the SPB531J1, delivering accuracy of -15/+25 seconds per day and an impressive 70-hour power reserve. The limited-edition number is engraved on the case back, underscoring its exclusivity.
