Men's Speedtimer Compact Countdown Black Dial Watch

The SPB515J1 continues the legacy of the Seiko Speedtimer, first introduced in 1969 as a major milestone in the brand’s watchmaking heritage. This latest model is the first Speedtimer to be powered by the robust and reliable in-house 6R automatic calibre and is also the slimmest 6R timepiece in Seiko’s history, measuring just 11.95mm in depth for exceptional comfort on the wrist.

Featuring a super-hard coating, the flowing case design was originally introduced in 1972 on the iconic Seiko ‘Panda’. Beneath curved sapphire crystal glass, the black dial is framed by a practical countdown timer function, with a strongly Lumibrite-coated inner-ring reference triangle ensuring clear visibility in both daylight and low-light conditions. Compact and wearable, this Speedtimer measures 39.5mm in diameter and offers water resistance up to 200 metres.

Powered by the in-house 6R55 automatic movement, the SPB515J1 delivers dependable performance with an accuracy of -15/+25 seconds per day and an impressive three-day power reserve. Part of the Seiko Prospex collection—short for ‘Professional Specifications’—this timepiece is designed to be practical, reliable and durable, meeting the demands of sports lovers and adventure seekers alike.
