The Seiko Prospex Speedtimer SSC963P1 is a distinctive solar chronograph inspired by iconic 1980s–90s sports cars, often referred to as ‘Youngtimers’. Featuring a pale pink dial modelled on the popular Seiko SSC813, this watch showcases the much-loved Seiko ‘Panda’ style design, with bold black subdials creating a striking contrast. Its motorsport-themed chronograph design draws on the flowing case shapes of the original 1960s–70s Speedtimer models, blending retro influence with modern performance.

Powered by Seiko’s in-house V192 solar-charged movement, the SSC963P1 is conveniently charged by both natural and artificial light, eliminating the need for battery changes. The chronograph function precisely measures elapsed time, with an accuracy of ±15 seconds per month and a power reserve of up to six months when fully charged. Designed for everyday wear, this Speedtimer also offers water resistance to 100 metres.
