Men's 1968 Heritage White Dial GMT Diver Watch

The SPB519J1 marks 60 years of Seiko’s heritage in innovative and reliable diving watches, a journey that began in 1965 with the launch of Japan’s first-ever diver’s watch. This commemorative design draws inspiration from a pivotal milestone in that history: the 1968 Diver, Seiko’s first hi-beat one-piece case diver’s watch with 300m water resistance, which helped define professional diving standards.

This 2025 re-interpretation is crafted from stainless steel with a super-hard coating for enhanced durability, while the lightweight diving scale on the bezel is made from scratch-resistant ceramic. Designed for versatility, the watch features a GMT function that allows two time zones to be tracked simultaneously. For the first time in a Prospex model, the short-pitch bracelet is equipped with a micro-adjustable clasp, delivering improved comfort and wearability.

Powered by the in-house 6R54 automatic GMT calibre, the SPB519J1 offers accuracy of -15/+25 seconds per day and a three-day power reserve, alongside water resistance up to 300 metres. As part of the Prospex collection—short for ‘Professional Specifications’—this timepiece is built to be practical, reliable and durable, meeting the demands of sports lovers and adventure seekers in both extreme and everyday environments.
