The Seiko Prospex SPB383J1 is a modern re-interpretation of the iconic 1968 Diver’s watch, inspired by Japan’s first hi-beat one-piece diver created by Seiko. The success of the original 1968 model laid the foundation for over sixty years of Seiko diver’s watch development, delivering precise and wearable timepieces trusted by both professional and recreational divers.

This contemporary diver is powered by the new in-house Calibre 6R54 and is the first Seiko diving watch to feature mechanical GMT functionality. Designed with wearability in mind, the bracelet offers a comfortable fit thanks to its low centre of gravity and short-pitch construction. Built for durability, it provides a three-day power reserve, a high-quality scratch-resistant Japanese ceramic diving scale, and water resistance up to 200 metres.

Part of the Prospex collection—combining ‘Professional’ and ‘Specifications’—the SPB383J1 is engineered to meet the demands of extreme environments while remaining practical and reliable for everyday wear.
