The Seiko Prospex Speedtimer SSC965P1 is a striking solar chronograph inspired by iconic 1980s–90s sports cars, often referred to as ‘Youngtimers’. Featuring a distinctive mint green dial modelled on the popular Seiko SSC813, this timepiece retains the fan-favourite Seiko ‘Panda’ style design, with bold black subdials contrasting against the main dial. The motorsport-themed chronograph design is completed by the smooth, flowing case shape inspired by the original 1960s–70s Speedtimer models.

Powered by Seiko’s in-house V192 solar-charged movement, the SSC965P1 is charged by both natural and artificial light, offering everyday convenience without the need for battery changes. The chronograph function precisely measures elapsed time, delivering an accuracy of ±15 seconds per month and a power reserve of up to six months when fully charged. With water resistance to 100 metres, it is well suited to active lifestyles.
